Tulsi Tanti
Tulsi Tanti is the Chairman of Suzlon Energy Ltd, and is counted amongst the 10 richest men of India. He belongs to the Gujarat and currently is placed in Pune, Maharashtra. He pursued graduation in Commerce and then continued to attain diploma in mechanical engineering.
A commerce graduate and a diploma holder in mechanical engineering, Tulsi Tanti originally hails from Gujarat and is presently based in Pune, Maharashtra. Tanti was involved into textiles business in Gujarat but due to the bottlenecks in the infrastructure has to shun away the prospect. He realised the potential of wind energy, and in the year 1990 invested in 2 windmills. At present, Suzion Energy Ltd is the sixth largest wind energy company in the world, and is the large in the Asian region.
