|
Trimbakeshwar Temple is a sacred place and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. It is located about 30 km from Nasik in Maharashtra near the mountain Brahmagiri, from where the river Godavari flows. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and serves as the venue for several major worship rituals. It is believed that all the heavenly Gods come down to Nasik once in a twelve year when the Jupiter resides in the Zodiac sign of Leo. A grad fair is organised here during this occasion. |
