Travel to Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh is a state in North India which is nourished by the river Ganga and is one of the most densely populated states of the country. The state consists of vast plains of Ganges and also lies at the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. Countless pilgrims flock this state every year as there are various destinations that are considered holy by the Hindu religion.
The holiest shrines are Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Deoprayag, and the holy cities are Rishikesh, Haridwar and Varanasi. There are many an architectural wonders that are present in this state like the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Also, there is the Fatehpur Sikri in Agra, the city of nawabs, Lucknow and also the birthplace of Lord Krishna which is Mathura are also famous.
