Travel to Tripura
A state in the north east India, Tripura is surrounded by Bangladesh on three sides and the fourth border is shared by Mizoram. This was an independent kingdom which was merged with India in 1949. The capital of this state is Agartala. This state has a great history of 2500 years and 186 kings who have ruled here.
The state offers picturesque sites for the tourists who visit here. There are lakes, waterfalls, and also the rich and varied culture of this place makes it every traveller’s dream site. Tribes are also surviving here which too are rich in culture. The places of interest present in Tripura are Amarpur, Khumulwng, Neermahal, Rasu Kami, Tripura Sundari temple, Jampui hills, Chaturdasha temple and the Kamlasagar etc.
