Subroto Roy
Subroto Roy is the Chairman of the acclaimed Sahara Group that accommodates a private airline, entertainment and news television channels, a newspaper, and claims to own some 33,000 acres of real estate across India. He initiated his journey in 1978, when he instituted Sahara in the year 1978, along with 3 workers in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in the Northern India region as a small deposits para-banking business.
Under Roy’s Ledership, the Sahara Group also sponsors the Indian cricket and hockey teams. Subroto Roy refers himself as the "chief guardian" of the Sahara Group. Amby Valley Project, is one of the recent and most prestigious project taken up by the Sahara Group under this guidance.
