One of the holiest temples in Rajasthan, Sri Mahavirji temple was built in the honour of Mahavira and is located on the banks of river Gambhir. This temple is one of the holiest Jain temples in Rajasthan. The temple is a vast complex which is constructed with white sandstone and has cupolas of red sandstones along with spires that are visible from all around the temple. |

Also like other Jain temples, the complex also has smaller temples which have idols of Jain saints. Also, the architecture of the temple is contemporary rather than belonging to the ancient designs of architecture. Also, there is a 32 feet huge statue of Shantinath who is a Jain fordmaker is also established in the temple and also a tower where the feet of Mahavira have been consecrated. |
