Squash
Squash was formerly known as squash racquets. It is a racquet sport played by two or fours players with racquets in a court surrounded by four walls with a small and hollow ball made of rubber. This sport provides an excellent workout of the cardiovascular muscles.
In India, squash was first introduced in the year 2005, as a promotional sport in the Inter IIT sports meet, organised by the institute. The institute's sports team has won several laurels till now. At present various national events of squash are organised in India. There are four indoor squash courts in the institute and has provided a great opportunity for the students to learn this unique sport.
