Shimla
Shimla was the summer capital of India during the British rule and presently it is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is also referred as the 'Queen of Hills'. Tourism, hotel and travel are the biggest industries of this place.
Shimla is famous for its architectural buildings, natural beauty, wooden crafts, shawls and apples. Apart from all these, the place is also ideal for adventure sports lovers. The climate is pleasant during summer and snowy during winter. Some of the major attraction of this place is the Chadwick Falls, Jakhoo Temple, Sankat Mochan, Viceregal Lodge, Prospects Hill, Tara Devi, Windflower Hall and the State Museum.
