|The ingredients that are required are 1 Cup Milk, 1 Cup sugar, ½ cup Ghee, 2 cups maida, 1 cup Semolina and Salt to taste. First of all, boil the milk in a vessel. Add the sugar and stir for it to dissolve. Then add the ghee and salt and mix well. Then remove from fire. Add maida and semolina (slightly fried) to the mix. Knead the dough and keep aside for 2 to 3 hours. Roll it as making a Chapatti with a rolling pin. With a cutter make diamond shaped shankarpalis. Fry in ghee till brown. You can keep these Shankarpalis for weeks in an air tight container.
