The ingredients required to make this dessert are 1/2 cup fine vermicelli, 1 glass chilled milk, 1/2 cup pistachios, shells and skins removed, 1/2 cup almonds, blanched/ skins removed, 2 tsps powdered sugar, 3 tbsps Basil seeds, 6 tbsps rose syrup and 2 scoops ice cream or kulfi of your choice.
To make this interesting dessert, first of all boil the vermicelli and keep it in the refrigerator. Now put the milk, powdered sugar, pistachios, almonds in a blender and blend till smooth. Chill in the refrigerator. After this, put the basil seeds in a bowl and pour water so that they swell. Now, take a glass and put some vermicelli, some basil seeds and the chilled milk in it. Also add 3- 4 drops of rose syrup and mix well. Finally put a scoop of ice cream or kulfi in it. Garnish it with sliced nuts. Serve it chilled.
