Ringworm is one of the most common types of skin disease. The disease is caused due to infection on the skin surface. Ringworm develops some patches in the form of rings on the skin surface. Ringworms usually occurs when fatty acids are absent in the proper quantity in the scalp. It is communicable in nature.
Home remedies in the case of ringworms are:
- Raw papaya can be applied on the skin surface of the affected area.
- Mustard seeds paste when rubbed off on the ring patches works well.
- Massage of juice of holy basil is effective on ringworms.
