Rajesh Roshan

Rajesh Roshan, born on May 24, 1955 in Mumbai is a Bollywood music composer. He learnt music at a very young age and later had a successful association with Basu Chatterjee, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar. In 1975, he won the Filmfare Best Music Director Award for the film Julie. He was the first music director who made the superstar Amitabh Bachchan to sing.
In 2000, Rajesh bagged the Film-Fare award for Best Music for the film Kaho Na Pyar Hain. Through out the industry, he is known for his soft-spoken nature and is termed as The Last of the Originals and the most gentlemanly of all the composers.
