| Rabindranath Tagore was the writer of the national anthem of India. This artist was multi talented and a legend in Indian respect. He was not only a recognized writer but a renowned painter, philosopher, visual artist, a painter and a composer too. There is a quite interesting story of this artist. He wrote his first poem in the age of eight. In year 1873 he along with his father went on the tour to Indian subcontinent. In the hills of Himalayas in Dalhousie he came across biographies and started studying history, astronomy, modern science and Sanskrit. Rabindranath Tagore also won the Nobel Prize in Literature, becoming Asia's first Nobel laureate. |
