Pankaj Advani



Pankaj Advani holds the record of being the youngest national snooker champion at an age of 17. He was born in Bangalore on July 24, 1985. Arvind Savur was his first coach who trained him for almost a decade at Bangalore. He won his first Indian Junior Billiards Championship title in 2000 and then went on to win it again in 2001 and 2003.
In 2005, Advani became the first player to complete a grand double by winning both point and time format titles in the IBSF World Billiards championship in Malta. He has been awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award for the year 2005.
