Ooty
Ooty, 'the Queen of hill stations' is also known as Udhagamandalam. It is the capital of Nilgiris district and an important tourist spot of Tamil Nadu. It is located at the tri junction of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The major tourist attraction of this place is the mountain train journey that enables to view some of the most exotic scenic natural beauties.
Ooty is famous for its number of tea estates. Thousands of tourists flock here every year to enjoy the annual Tea and Tourism Festival. Some of the famous tourist spots are the Ooty boat House Lake, Botanical garden, Pykara, children's park, and Tiger Hill.
