Naseeruddin Shah
Naseeruddin Shah is one of the most successful Indian film actors in both parallel cinema and mainstream Bollywood cinema. He was born on 20 July, 1950. He has also appeared in many international movies. In 1975, he made his first acting debut in Shyam Benegal's film, ‘Nishant’. In 1979, he received the National Film Award for Best Actor for the film ‘Sparsh’. During this period he also won three Filmfare awards.
He made his Pakistani film debut in the critically-acclaimed ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ by Shoaib Mansoor. He was the first actor to play the role of narrator in the popular audio-book series for kids ‘Karadi Tales’. In 2006, he made is first directorial with the movie ‘Yun Hota To Kya Hota’.
