Namkin Khira Lassi is a very popular cooling summer drink. It also serves as a great appetizer and is also very healthy in nature.
To make this nourishing drink, the ingredients that are required are 2 cups fresh yoghurt (should not be sour), 2 small cucumbers peeled and cut into cubes, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tsp finely chopped ginger, 1 tsp lime juice, 1 cup crushed ice, Salt to taste, 1/4 tsp Chaat Masala and Sprigs of mint to garnish.
To make this drink, mix all the ingredients (except the Chaat Masala and mint) and blend in a blender or food processor till smooth. Pour it into a glass and sprinkle with a pinch of Chaat Masala and garnish it with a sprig of mint and serve it chilled. |
