Nagarjunasagar Wildlife Sanctuary

The wildlife sanctuary is covered with thick flora and fauna. A large variety of animals and birds are found in this sanctuary. The animals like wolf, jackal, palm civet, wild dog, Bengal fox, sambar, nilgai, antelope, sloth bear, jungle cat, blackbuck, marsh crocodile, hyena, giant flying squirrel and Indian soft- shelled turtle.

Around 150 species of birds are also found in this sanctuary. The most common among them are the hornbill and the peafowl grey.
