Mysore
Mysore, also known as 'The City of Palaces' is the second largest city in the state of Karnataka, India. It was once the capital of the Mysore Maharajas. There are several institutes that proliferates Carnatic Classical dance and music. This place is famous for beautiful silk sarees, sandalwood oil and rose wood.
Some of the famous tourist destination of this place is the Mysore Palace, The Jaganmohan Palace, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundi Hill, The Mysore Zoo and St. Philomena's Church. The climate is pleasant throughout the year. The ideal time to visit this city is in the months of October and November, during the festival of Dussehra when the entire city is festooned.
