Munnar
Munnar is located in the south-western Ghats in the state of Kerala, India. The town is situated in the convergences of the three river named as Kundali Muthirappuzha and Chanduvarai. The entire area of the town is surrounded by vast jungles. Due to its location on the wind ward side of the Western Ghats, the climate of the town remains wet and cold almost throughout the year.
Munnar is famous for its picturesque hill resort that has tea plantation all around. It is best to visit this place during the monsoon season. There are several protected wildlife areas that draws number of tourist every year.
