Mumps is a kind of viral disease which caused due to the infection in the salivary glands and gonads. This disease is usually found in the in children and young teenagers. Home remedies for treatment of mumps are as follows:
- Paste of ginger with water should be applied to the affected areas.
- Paste of fenugreek seeds and asparagus can be applied on the swollen areas.
- Orange juice with diluted water can be given to the patient twice daily.
- A patient should strictly go for only fruit diet.
