Momo is a tasty, oil free and nutritious recipe and is highly popular among youngsters. They are made of a simple flour and water dough. And for the filling, minced meat or vegetables, onion, garlic and ginger paste, vinegar, salt and little black pepper is required.
First of all, marinate the minced meat or vegetables and all the ingredients in a bowl. Allow it to stand for at least 5 hours. Now make dough with the flour adding salt and water to it. Then divide the dough into small equal balls and spread them to form a flat circular shape. Now fill them with the marinated mixture. Place them on a container and cook for 10 minutes until the momos become tender. Serve hot with meat or vegetable soup, sauce or tomato chutney.
