|First, you have to boil the dry green peas. Then blend onion, garlic, ginger and tomatoes till they make a fine paste. Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer until they turn golden. Put them aside. In heated oil, add turmeric, red chilli, asafoetida and the paste of onion and tomatoes. Fry until light brown. Add the paneer and the matar into the gravy. Add water and stir till the gravy is semi-thick. Add salt and serve hot with chapattis or rice.
