Marble Cake |

| Marble cake is meant for all occasion and is very easy to prepare. To make this cake firstly, grease a cake tin and line the bottom with a circle of greaseproof paper. Beat the butter and sugar together and then add the eggs and mix well. Now add flour, milk and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth. |

| Make equal division of the batter in two bowls and stir the cocoa powder into one of the bowls. To give a marble effect, dollop the chocolate and vanilla cake mixes into the tin alternately. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Turn them out into a cooling rack and leave to cool. They can be kept for 3 days in an airtight container and up to 3 months when refrigerated. |
