Firstly, peel the mangoes, remove the seed and cut them into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan, and put mustard seeds into it. When the seeds start crackling, add salt, mango piece and turmeric. Add water and allow them to come to a boil. Keep stirring continuously until the chutney is thick. Remove the pan and let it cool to room temperature. Store the chutney in an air-tight container and refrigerate it. |
