 Mahendra Singh Dhoni is an Indian cricketer and the present captain of Twenty20 and ODI team. It was under his captaincy that India bagged the ICC World Twenty20 and CB series in 2007. Dhoni is a forceful right handed batsman and wicket keeper. He is one of the few wicket-keepers, who have appeared through the ranks of junior. He is referred to as ‘Mahi’ by his friend and made his debut in the Bihar cricket team. He was chosen to represent India in 2004, for a tour to Kenya. He has scored various centuries along with Gautam Gambhir against Pakistan in a tri nation series and later on selected in the Indian national team. |
