 M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium is situated on Bangalore, Karnataka and is one of the premier stadiums. It was named after M. Chinnaswamy, who was at the control of BCCI, in India since 1977 to 80. This stadium acquired Test status during 1974-75, while West Indies toured India with legends like Vivian Richards and Gordon Greenidge in the Test Match. Floodlights were included in this stadium in the 1996 Wills World cup. It was intensifying clash between India and Pakistan on March 9. It is also used to impart training to the aspiring cricketers. |
