Lachha Parantha

Lachha Parantha is shallow fried layered bread, stuffed with potatoes, onion, cottage cheese and radish. Paranthas are famous in India and throughout its subcontinents. Lachha parantha can be eaten simply with butter, yoghurt or pickles. They can also be eaten with curries of meat and vegetables.
In India, Lachha Parantha originates from Punjab and is mostly found in northern India. Apart from Lachha Paranthas, a variety of other types of paranthas can also be found, such as Aloo ka Parantha, Mooli ka Parantha, Gobi Parantha, Paneer Parantha and Methi Parantha. They are basically prepared for breakfast and taste best when served hot.
