Kumar Mangalam Birla
Kumar Mangalam Birla, the Chairman of Aditya BIrla Group was born on June 14th 1967, spending most of his childhood in Kolkata and Mumbai. He pursued MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from the London School, and joined the Birla Group of Industries in 1995 after the sudden demise of his father. Under his leadership, the group has made its presence in countries such as Malaysia, China, Canada, Thailand, Australia, Philippines, Egypt, as well Indonesia.
He has bagged in several honours for himself inclusive of ‘The Business Leader of the Year’ for 2003 by the Economic Times as well as the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year for 2005’ by Ernest & Young.
