| First of all, soak rice for at least 20 minutes. After that, boil the milk. Now drain the rice and add it to the boiled milk along with sugar. Put the flame at its lowest and keep stirring the kheer continuously till the milk is reduced and become thick. Stir slowly so that the rice flakes do not break. Finally, add dry fruits and saffron. Stir for another 10 minutes and the kheer is ready. Refrigerate it and serve chilled. |
