| Karsanbhai Khodidas Patel or K.K. Patel hails from a modest farmer family from Mehsana, Gujarat. He initiated his career as a Lab Assistant in the Geology and Mining Department of the Government of Gujarat. Then, at the age of 25years, in the year 1969, Karsan Bhai Patel began a small-scale venture. He presented a quality detergent powder, incorporating indigenous technology, at one-third of the marketed price of the competitive brands. Karsanbhai Patel named this product after his daughter NIrupama, 'Nirma'. |
