|Kamleshwar is a famous journalist and renowned literary figure. His complete name is Kamleshwar Prasad Saxena and was known for his short stories. He was born in the district of Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, India on 6th January, 1932. He had been the editor of Hindi dailies like Dainika Bhaskara and Dainika Jagaran, literary magazine Sarika and the Additional Director Genral of national television channel of India Doordarshan. One of his internationally acclaimed works is ‘Kitne Pakistan’. This prominent writer has written scripts for a number of Hindi films like Aandhi, Mausam, Chhoti Si Baat and many more. He was awarded with the Padma Bhushan in 2005.
