Jodhpur
Jodhpur is a place enchanted with its historical treasure. It is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan and is located on the edge of the desert 'Thar'. It is famous for its number of forts, palaces, and temples. The city is also known as the 'Sun City' due to its sunny and bright weather.
The Mehrangarh Fort is located in the top of a hill and houses a number of temples and shrines and the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the great palace built in India are among the important historical places of Jodhpur. Apart from these, the other places that make this city special are the Mandore, Kailana Lake, Jaswant Thada, Ganesh temple and Mahamandir temple.
