|Invalappi Mani Vijayan was born on April 25, 1969, Kerala, India. He has been the most versatile Indian strikers. At some point of time, he used to sell soda bottles in Thrissur and later on become the most notable face of the Indian football. All credit goes to his hard work. He made his national debut when he was just 17 years old for the Kerala Police in the Quilon Nationals of 1987. Subsequent to working with police for four years, he left Kerala and joined Kolkata Club Football. This way he spent some years with East Bengal and Mohun Bengal. There are a number of achievements to his credit and after retirement he has acted in the highly acclaimed award winning movie 'Santham', which was directed by Jayraj.
