 Gujarati language is a part of Indo-Aryan language family. It has got the status of official recognized language by the constitution of India. It is also a very vastly used language. The total speaking population of Gujarati language comprises of 46 million individuals. Gujarati language is quite popular in the world and that is the reason that it has been ranked 26th in the list of most spoken languages in the whole world. Gujarati language has got its own developed writing system. It is written in the Gujarati script. Gujarati language has also been born from the mother language Sanskrit, which is the parent language of almost every language in India (except the Dravidian languages). |
