Gaur |

| In Indian you can find the largest population of gaur. They are large and dark-coated bovine animal, mainly found in Southeast and South Asia. An average mature gaur weighs 800kgs and its height can be about 175 cm. It has a well built muscular body, a distinctive glistering black coat and a pair of sturdy and aggressive looking horns. They are wild cattle and are huger than the Asiatic Bison and water buffalo. They are known to the most powerful wild cattle. |

| Generally gaurs dwell in small herds and graze on shoots, grasses and fruits. It prefers to stay in dense forest and avoid human beings. |
