Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium

Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium has got its name from the Emperor of Delhi, Feroz Shah Tughlaq. This ground holds the distinction of hosting the first ever Test match after independence in India, when the West Indian team played in November 1948. It has witnessed some stupendous performances, some unbroken records and some awe stuck moments during all these years. In 1999, it witnessed a historic feat, when Anil Kumble made a perfect 10 against Pakistan. It is located at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in New Delhi, has flood lights and is owned by Delhi District Cricket Association.
