Erapalli Prasanna |
|
Erapalli Prasanna is one of the most famous Indian Spin Quartet in the cricket team. He took 25 wickets in four Tests and recorded first overseas victory of India in 1967-68 against New Zealand. He made his debut against West Indies in 1966, where he collaborated with Chandrashekhar and Bishen Bedi to distress the West Indies line up. He grew professionally under the guidance of Nawab Pataudi and played at his best in the 8-Test tour to New Zealand and Australia. He had played a vital role in India’s first overseas win and his unfortunate injury led him to pave the way for Venkataraghavana. |
