Dr. Karni Singh was born on 21st April, 1924, at Bikaner in Rajasthan. He was the leading light of Indian shooting sport. He won the National Championship in Clay Pigeon Trap and Skeet for a whooping 17 years, from 1960 to 1977. He participated in five Olympic Games: Rome, Tokyo, Mexico, Munich and Moscow and spearheaded the Indian challenge in various international competitions. |
