Loacted in the South of Jaipur, the Laxminarayan temple or commonly called as the Birla Temple was built by the major industrialist family in India, the Birla family. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of wealth, Goddess Laxmi and her consort Lord Vishnu who is the preserver of the Hindu Trinity. |

The temple is loacted near the Moti Doongri fort which is converted to a small palace. The temple, in order to give respect to the secular nature of the nation, has three different types of domes on the roof to show respect to all religions. The temple building is made of white shining marble which seems to glow at night. Many people come to this place to worship their gods on the day of festivals when celebrations take place in the temple. |
