| Bhupinder Singh Hooda was born on September 15, 1947 at village Sanghi in Rohtak districts. He is an Indian politician and present Chief Minister of Haryana. Earlier, he had been a member of Indian Parliament in 1991, 1996, 1998, 2004 and opposition leader in the legislative assembly for 3 years. He has also served as the President of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee for 5 years. Mr. Hooda is widely known for leading a number of farmer movements in Haryana. He came from the Indian National Congress and has also been a member of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. |
