Bhelpuri is a type of chaat. It is a famous snack of Western India. Bhelpuri is low-fat, nutritious and delicious dish. It was originally a Gujarati fast food. It later got merged with Mumbai culture and became synonymous with Mumbai.
It is very easy and simple to prepare this snack. The ingredients that are required in its preparation are 3 cups puffed rice, ½ cup roasted and salted peanuts, 2 potatoes boiled, peeled and chopped into tiny cubes, 1 large finely chopped onion, 1 large tomato chopped fine, Half a bunch of finely chopped coriander, 2 green chilies chopped finely, Tamarind chutney to taste, Mint-coriander chutney to taste, A handful of coarsely crushed papdi and 1 cup sev.

To prepare this snack you are required to mix the puffed rice, peanuts, potato, onion, tomato, coriander and green chillies together in a large bowl. Then add the tamarind chutney and mint-coriander chutney according to your own taste preferences, mix well, garnish with plenty of sev and papdi. Serve and eat immediately otherwise it becomes soggy which mars its taste and crunchiness. Its sweet and tangy taste will definitely flatter you.
