|Bhagwat Chandrasekhar is an ex- cricketer of India, who was considered one amongst the top rank of leg spinners. He together with Bishen Singh Bedi, E.A.S. Prasanna and Srinivasarahgavan Venkataraghavan formed the Indian spin quartet, which dominated spin bowling in the 60s and 70s. He was born and educated in Mysore and was passionate about cricket since childhood. He was the most successful leg spin bowlers in the history of cricket. He fared in total 58 Test matches and took 242 wickets in his career. His most outstanding performance was at The Oval against England, and helped India to win a series. In 2002, he bagged the Wisden’s “Best Bowling performance of the century”.
