BCCI is the Board of Control for Cricket in India and is the head governing body for cricket. It was established in 1929, registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. It employs government owned stadiums in the country by paying a nominal annual rent charges. The BCCI officials are selected by the state level club's secretaries. They have the authority to choose players, officials, umpires to take part in international events.
