Backache is a very common trouble which we all generally face. Back is an important area of the body which bears the whole body weight. Sedentary living habits, psychological conditions, emotional stress and, hazardous work patterns cause backaches. The common symptoms of backaches are pain in lower and middle back.

The Indian remedies of backaches are:
  • Lime juice is excellent in backaches
  • Intake of citrus fruit (raw or juice) is quite beneficial. Vitamin C in particular is very effective in the severe backaches.
  • Application of raw potato in poultice form relieves backaches quickly.
  • Salad and plenty fruits intake also help in relieving backache.
  • Hot water bottle can be kept at back.
