|After nine months of protection in the womb, the baby finally sees the light of the day. For the proper development of the child it is very essential to give proper feed and diet to the baby. Make sure that for at least the first six months you breast feed your baby. The studies have shown that the babies who have been breast fed for the first six months stay healthier throughout their lives.
Breast-feeding prevents illnesses like chest infections, ear infections and diarrhea. Feeding the baby breast milk only, will provide the best protection against infections. You should begin breastfeeding your baby an hour after delivery. The milk that is produced by the mother in the first three days is very healthy for the child. After 6 months you may also start up with bottle feeding. Make sure to eat good food as it will help in healthy production of milk.
