|Assamese is the language which spoken in and around the whole Bhramaputra Valley. This language is some what similar to the Bengali language. Assamese language is mainly spoken in the north eastern part of India, in the state of Assam. It is one of the 22 recognized languages by the constitution of India. It is the official language of state of Assam. At international level Assamese is spoken in India, Bhutan and USA. This language is quite popular in east India and is spoken by 13 million people in the whole world. It occupies 52nd rank in the world's most spoken languages. It is written in Assamese script.
