Amit Kumar
Amit Kumar is the son of the renowned singer and actor Kishore Kumar. He is a music director, a playback singer and an actor. He loved singing since his childhood and used to perform in Kolkata during Durga Pooja functions. He began his career as a playback singer in the 1970s and has been singing till today.
Amit Kumar made his debut in singing and as a child actor in his father's movie ‘Door Ka Rahi’. Later, he made his official debut as a playback singer in the film ‘Balika Badhu’ for the super hit song ‘Bade Acche Lagate Hain’, composed by R.D. Burman. In 1980, Amit got his Filmfare Award for his duet in the mega hit film ‘Love Story’.
