Aaloo Parantha

Aaloo Parantha is a popular north Indian dish. This is one of the easiest recipes that can be prepared quickly in breakfast. Aaloo Parantha tastes the best with yoghurt, pickle or any other chutney. It can also be enjoyed with butter.

This simple recipe can be prepared very quickly. The ingredients required for stuffing are 4-5 boiled potatoes, 2 green chilies finely chopped, 1 chopped onion, 1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves, 1 tsp red chili powder, tsp turmeric powder, salt, vegetable oil. For dough plain flour, water and salt are needed.

First of all prepare soft dough of flour water and salt, knead it well and keep aside. For filling, mash the boiled potatoes and add all the remaining ingredients.

Now divide the dough into balls of equal portions and roll one ball at a time in the form of a chapatti. Now put a small quantity of above mixture (filling) over it, close it from all sides. Roll it into a parantha. Now cook on a tava, by applying 1 tsp. oil on each side, until light brown and serve hot with yoghurt or pickle or with any other thing of choice.
